Summary

Your adventure begins early in the morning, with hotel pickup between 4:30 and 5:30 a.m. from accommodations located in Cusco’s Historic Center. From there, we travel through the beautiful South Valley aboard our tourist transport, enjoying the breathtaking scenery of the Peruvian Andes along the way.

Our first stop is Cusipata, where you will enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast to recharge before beginning the day’s sightseeing.

Next, we visit the Combapata Viewpoint, a spectacular panoramic location offering unforgettable views of the Andean landscape and excellent photo opportunities. We then continue to the Pabellones Mini Volcano, a unique natural geological formation known for its distinctive beauty and fascinating volcanic features. Along the route, we will also follow part of the historic trail once traveled by Túpac Amaru II, one of Peru’s most important historical figures.

The highlight of the tour is a visit to the Q’eswachaka Inca Bridge, the last remaining Inca suspension bridge still in use today. Handwoven entirely from natural ichu grass using ancient techniques, this remarkable bridge represents a living tradition that has been passed down through generations. During a guided visit of approximately one hour, you will learn about its history, cultural significance, and the annual reconstruction ceremony carried out by the surrounding local communities.

On our return journey to Cusco, we will explore the beautiful Circuit of the Four Lagoons, which includes Pampamarca, Asnacocha, Acopia, and Pomacanchi lagoons. We will make a stop to admire these stunning Andean landscapes, and those who wish may enjoy an optional boat ride.

Afterward, we return to Cusipata for a delicious buffet lunch, featuring a variety of dishes, including vegetarian options.
